Mambo Jambo

Was youtubing randomly and I found this...

Which greatly inspire me to pen it down before laziness kicks in..

The last time I stepped into a club was... last January. It was O bar, at Mohd Sultan. The moment I went in, I was determined to get my butt out within the next minute. I wouldn't have go in the first place if not for a birthday celebrating of a very good buddy of mine.
My dear friends who decide to celebrate their birthday in a club, please count me out. Andy just can't fit into that scene anymore.

Flashback to the first time I went to a club, was at Boat Quay. That place close down long ago before bubbletea exists. I still remember very clearly, it's called "The Buzz". (If you happened to know where it is, Congrats. You are in the same aging era as me.)
Favourite song then was, "Close to you" by fun factory... that tune still rings in my head now!
That was 9 years back, I was 17 then. That night was fun, happy, drowsy and quite smelly. That moment, everything my elder sister told me about, came to life. My sister just had so much fun clubbing, bringing back the smelly cigarette stench ALMOST every other night.
For a boy at that age, it just seems not right.. until, I start going to one..

I do club ever since then on a on and off basis, and Zouk mambo night was my favourite. The mambo moves, the Long Island Tea, the company I got. I enjoyed 200% of all the hours spent in that smokey enviroment watching the Synchronise Dance move..

It all came naturally. When the time to stop partying, I stop... and my hangouts at night these days are my trusty coffeeshop. They have the best and most affordable beer in Singapore. No cover charge is imposed, and the snacks are great. GST and Service charges are absorb. No matter how late you go, seats and table are readily available. No more squeezing your jugs of designer drainwater on a ledge, and end up drinking from other patrons.
Oh, and a good news for the ladies. You won't have to queue up for the restroom!

Alas,
Time for a classic SYNCHRONISE mambo jambo dancing clip. Enjoy!

For now, I would prefer this instead, in a kopi tiam.

Cheers~
