Summary

I reckon this would be my last post for the year, so I guess a simple summary of the greatest event that happen to me, is the best way to end my 2004 blog ;)


FDS

In january, I Was in Changi Air Base for my FDS course.. A 12 weeks course for RP. Experience lots of turnouts, lots of real shit... totally different from the BMT phase... still remember i contracted dengue fever in dec 03(course starts in dec), and I miss alot of lessons.. so there were alot of catching up to do..

My Unforgetable Field camp. 5days outfield... for 2 days i dig holes... as if it was for my own grave.. MEANINGLESS. Slept around 10hrs durin the 5 days.. and we are not suppose to sleep 'officially'.
Towards the end of the course, we were 'introduce' to the area we will stay for the rest of the 1and half year.. It was worse than worse.. we thought our hellish days were over, but actually it has yet to begin..Days of my course ending..Almost all of us were hoping to be posted out.. hai..
I thought to myself.. Would there be any chance that of being posted out for me? I kept a real low profile, minding my own business..
hai.. whatever lah..

I was having my lunch in the cook house when my buddy went over to me and said,"You are going to be posted out."
I pause for a minutes..
Is this a joke?


On 6th March 2004, I went to my new unit at PLAB. Met up with the in-charge who brought me to the sqn...I was the only fella here from changi.. everything was so different from Changi... I got my own Bed here, my cupboard, air con bunk etc..I can smoke whenever I want.. No such thing as smoking break.. everything is great..
I Think of my changi mates suffering there, and I felt so so so fortunate...
Up till this very day, I still have no idea who have pick me to come here... Millions of Thanks to this holy soul that helped me...Thankyou.
