My only Fear

0418hrs

Caught a terrible sore throat.. real bad.. hate the feeling of being sick...
I was watching Discovery Channel this afternoon, some programs about terrible accidents..
A guy's head got slash by the blades of a small aircraft...
another one featured a very extreme F1 accident...
It sets me thinking..

What if I am one of them?
They are not the usual cough and fever kinda stuffs...
They are the one that have to undergo some tough operation and complex medical treatments..
How will I cope? Will I be able to cope?
If I am crippled, paralyse, or have have become mute..
Logically, I should be able to accept it as time progress...

All except for 1...
If someday I lost my sight, where I won't be able to see anymore...
with confirmation from the doctors that my eyes are beyond cure...
I... will chose to die.

My "godmother" often ask me what is the 1 thing that I fear,
and I always reply lion, tiger, or dinosaurs..
On a serious note.. the 1 and only thing that I am really terrified of,
is the loss of my eyesight.
That's the only fear in my life now...

Damm... late at night.. always have a thing for such emotional stuffs...
think I should not blog so often at night..
Really hate the emotional part of me...
