Choice of words
Right Speech
There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that "A speech will either prosper or ruin a nation." Many relationships break off because of wrong speech. When a couple is too close with each other, we always forget mutual respect and courtesy. We may say anything without considering if it would hurt the other party.
A friend and her millionaire husband visited their construction site. A worker who wore a helmet saw her and shouted, "Hi, Emily! Remember me? We used to date in the secondary school." On the way home, her millionaire husband teased her, "Luckily you married me. Otherwise you will be the wife of a construction worker." She answered,"You should appreciate that you married me. Other wise, he will be the millionaire and not you."
Frequently exchanging these remarks plants the seed for a bad relationship.
The result is irreversible.

Well, I just post it again for those who have not seen it..
as I personally feel that it's worth a few minutes of our time to read it..
How many times have we hurt others unknowingly with our inappropriate choice of words?
To you, a single time might be very little...
To others,
A single time from that particular conversation, can kill...
I have to admit that sometimes I do hurt others unknowingly with my words..
and that when I realise the fact..
it's often too late to rectify the situation..
Even if the situation is resolved,
there will always be a little crack in my heart that's feeling so sorry..
I am trying my best to improve on myself in this area.. and I will constantly work on it..
Be it a stranger, your family, or friends.. whoever it is..
Let's use the correct choice of words..
and not hurt anyone using silly terms and words again shall we?
